Interests: I just want to say a few things, God is more than just someone you talk to b4 you go to sleep, God isnt there to just be placed in a box, He is so much more, He is the focus not us, the only way we can see Him is by looking at the world thru His eyes and not our own, once we do that we are able to focus on Him and become mirrors, so that people may see God reflected in us and may behold God when they look at us....I am but a mirror....

| so here i am, all married, its so amazing, having someone you can confide in, someone to come home too, someone to just fall asleep with every night and wake up to every morning, oh man i love it! i mean even the simplest things in life have become so much fun, like just getting ready in the morning, its like wow! this is so great, man married life is just the best ever, whats even more is that i'm married to Rachel, shes just so completely wonderfully amazing, i mean i keep getting to know even more of her and i'm so excited, i cant wait to see what God has in store for us, also we're gonna buy a roll of film once a week and start taking pictures together, i cant wait, oh man God is so good, He is just so amazing, i cant explain it enough of how great He is, praise the Lord, He is so good | | |
| Well, its been over a month since i updated, anyway heres an update, i'm getting married this sunday, from there i'll be on my honeymoon with my wife, don't expect anything else from me on this page until mid to late september, seriously, i'm going to be very busy...
has anyone ever thought of making a pen that doubles as a handgun? cause that would be really cool, if you were writing and someone attacked you, turn your pen into a gun and thats it...well whatever i'm gonna stop cause even i'm getting bored | | |
| What are you doing right now? i'm at work, so i should be working, but alas i am taking a small break, life is so weird. sometimes i just sit and think about who i am and how i came to be here and why i am me. i don't know if anyone else has ever thought that but i'm always so amazed by God that He chose me to be me and furthermore He chose me to be His son, i mean i have the privilege of calling God my Father, that just will forever amaze me. last night i was reading in jeremiah and i was just thinking about how israel kept pulling away from God, so much so that He refers to them as a harlot, they keep worshipping other gods, yet every time God punishes them He's only doing it to bring them back into reconciliation with Him, isn't that amazing? how many times has God forgiven us in our lives? so just think, the next time you don't feel like forgiving someone, think what would happen if God didn't feel like forgiving you... | | |
| Today in history in 1862 Lee conferred with his generals before the seven day's battle and in 1940 Hitler took a tour of Paris, well how about that? and today i'm at work, wonder if that will go in the history books, just imagine years from now some kid will be blogging or whatever crazy thing they have in the year 3677, and he'll be like today in history Jeff thompson blogged on xanga, but that prolly won't happen cuz some cataclismic event may occur and xanga will be completely shut down on the internet

| it rained yesterday, it rained a lot, i loved it, the rain looked so beautiful coming down from the skies, i especially like seeing the dark clouds moving so very fast in the heavy wind, right now i'm at work, the wind is howling in through the back door of my "office", my name is on the desk so i think that makes it "my office" right? well anyway i was just thinking how fickle the wind is, how it changes so often and so much, kinda reminds me how fickle we can be in life, when things get a little rough, we pitch a fit, or we change directions immediately in order to avoid the conflict, rather we should be continuing in our path doing the work of God, as we walk this God believing life we should keep in mind to not let the thoughts of the wicked sway us from our paths, we should stay faithful to God as He has stayed faithful to us, i don't normally do what i'm about to do, but i'm going to mention a few people in my life that i have noticed that don't let the wicked sway them from their paths, i've noticed this in my fiance rachel cummings-no matter what people think of her, her goal is to do what God desires for her to do, and she does it, i've noticed this in a long-time friend of mine-Pastor Comings-he has such an amazing passion for God, its unbelievable, the ways that he impacts many peoples lives is astounding and i am so very proud and impressed with the way he conducts himself and how he cares for everyone from young to old, the last people i want to mention are my parents-they could have sent us four kids to public schools and wouldn't have to had paid a dime, yet those chose to send all four of us to a God believing school, they paid thousands of dollars for each of us to have a godly education, even though all their friends and family were sending their children to public schools, they stuck to the path that God had set before them, even though it was hard mentally, physically and financially | | |
